Meeting Reminder
Just a reminder about our upcoming meeting on October 12. The meeting will begin at 7 p.m. with a presentation by Sharon McConnell of Color Girl Quilts. For more information see Mary Lou's message below. Remember that overflow parking is available at The Dock Restaurant and the Veterinary Clinic across the street.

Retreat Registration
We will be opening at the doors at 6 p.m. to take registration for the Scraptacular Block Party Quilt Retreat. A deposit of $50 must be paid prior to choosing your seats. You cannot sign up for someone else's seat unless you have their receipt with you! If you are paying by mail, be sure to allow time for Carol to receive your registration prior to the Oct. 12 guild meeting.  Any questions, see one of the committee members at the retreat table during the meeting.

News from the Vice President at the Fat Quarter Corner
(just a few inches shy of a complete yard!)
                 Hello to Everyone! I hope that you all enjoyed Ann Loveless. The ladies who took the workshop had a great time. Those who took the Ann Loveless workshop are invited to bring their projects to show. We will show ours all at once rather than individually. We will have Show-and-Tell in October, but since we have a speaker, we are limiting the number of items to show at 1 per person. 

Below is the current meeting agenda for the remainder of 2021 and 2022. I will have sign-up sheets for the first two workshops of 2022. 

October 2021
Coming in October is a lecture and trunk show by Color Girl Quilts, Sharon McConnell. Sharon will be doing a lecture and trunk show, and then she will have items such as fabric bundles, rulers, patterns, etc. to sell. This meeting will be interesting and enjoyable. Just to repeat, at the October meeting we will have a brief Show-and-Tell. Please bring only one item to show and save the rest for our December meeting. 

November 2021
November brings Nancy Mahoney with a trunk show and two workshops. Her “Wild Waves” workshop is filled up with a waiting list, but you can still sign up for the “Twisted Triangles” workshop. Both the presentation and the workshops by this fabulous nationally-known quilter are sure to be fantastic. 

December 2021
December will be our traditional Carry-In and Show and Tell. 

Please note that all guests must pay a $10 fee per speaker to attend each meeting with the following speakers (*) listed below.
