QUILT RETREAT
Each year, the Miami Valley Quilters’ Guild hosts a wonderful 3-day retreat over Presidents’ Day weekend in February. Hosted at a local hotel, quilters may choose the option to spend the night or commute. Quilters bring their own machines and work on any of the projects of their choice during this retreat. We also have fabric and patterns available from Community Projects and Quilts of Valor for members to make blocks to donate for future quilts!
In past retreats, breakfast is available for free for overnight retreaters and the retreat committee provided free homemade soups for dinner for all. A delivered lunch is available for purchase, plus members always bring a variety of snacks for everyone to enjoy. Quilters are always welcome to come and go as they need or wish!
All quilters are in one room and love to cheer each other on as projects are completed! Demonstrations are provided for different techniques and project ideas, plus we play a few games and draw for door prizes all weekend long! Registration usually begins at our October meeting.

A block of rooms are available for members to book directly with the hotel with the rate of $99 + tax when you mention you are with the Miami Valley Quilters' Guild. No rooms are booked on behalf of members anymore. Please contact the hotel at (937) 912-9350.
Registration:
Registration opens at our October guild meeting at 5pm where your completed form and $50 payment via cash or check is due to confirm your spot. Please note:

- You must be a guild member to register.
- Once the retreat is full, a waitlist will be started.
- To attend, your 2025 guild member dues must be paid in full by the January meeting. Do not combine payment for retreat and membership. They must be submitted separately.
- No refunds will be made after the January guild meeting.
