From the President and Vice President:
A big thank you to our own Bonnie M for last month’s Turning Twenty presentation and hosting her sew-in events in the following week. For the Guild, using the Turning Twenty pattern, ten Quilts of Valor (QoV) were started and are in the works to deliver to our QoV Chair, Patty H. In addition, cutting material and assembling into kits was also accomplished and will be provided to the QoV chair, Patty H. Please see Patty if you are interested in participating in any way to build, finish and quilt the QoV. She has additional information in this newsletter. A big THANK YOU as well to Debbie B. who volunteered at our last meeting to take over the Membership Chair position. We also had Tina F. volunteer to help Debbie at the table on the Guild meeting nights. As you are signing in at our May meeting, make sure you stop at the Membership table and welcome both. Tere H. has been our Membership Chair for several years – her excellent service has been vital to the success of our Guild. You will still see Tere around the Guild meeting and events! Announcements:

I donated 32 quilts to Hospice and have 8 more to go to Jeramiah's Letter. Hospice is always in need of the small lap quilts. They go through about 250 a month. At this point, I don't have any completed quilts or quilts that need binding. If you have any you would like to donate, bring them to me at the next meeting. Carol G., Community Quilts Chair QUILTS OF VALOR Thank you, everyone, for helping with the Quilts of Valor. We will need extra help in the next 6 months.
