June Update

Notes from the President, MVQG:
Hello, MVQG membership! We are about four weeks away from our first meeting in well over a year. We would like to see as many people as possible because we need to discuss a possible permanent "change in location" for all future meetings.
Mask restrictions have been lifted but if you're unsure, you can still wear one. We ask that if you are not feeling well, please stay home and we'll see you next time. Please remember that our meetings are still SCENT FREE, so please--no heavy perfumes, hairspray, lotions, etc., as some of us have health issues.
Show n Tell is limited to two (2) projects per person please!

Notes from the Vice President, MVQG:
There have been lots of changes due to Covid, so please be sure to check the calendar for an
updated listing of programs and workshops for the remainder of 2021 and 2022.  We are keeping
two workshops this year: Ann Loveless and Nancy Mahoney. Both will be held at Knob Prairie
United Church of Christ, 203 West Street in Enon. Sign-ups will be held at the July meeting
or you could email me at [email protected]. We will be opening these two workshops
to nonmembers and other guilds because we have to fill up these workshops, so if you are
interested, please let me know as soon as possible.  See specific dates on calendar for supply lists.

Ann Loveless Workshop: Impressionistic Art Quilts
September 15 from 9 a.m. 4 p.m.
$40 fee for MVQG members; $45 for nonmembers

Nancy Mahoney Workshop: Wild Waves
November 10 from 9 a.m. - 12 noon
$30 fee for MVQG members; $40 for nonmembers

Nancy Mahoney Workshop: Twisted Triangles
November 10 from 1 p.m. - 4 p.m.
$30 fee for MVQG members; $40 for nonmembers

August meeting Announcement

You've heard of Christmas in July, but this year it's Christmas in August! Be sure to attend the August meeting to learn some cool, easy gifts to make for Christmas. We'll have lots of great visuals and handouts for attendees.
