Hello Miami Valley Quilters' Guild!
Thank you to everyone for an amazing quilt show. Special thanks to Emilie and all of you who worked so hard to make the quilt show a success! And of course, thank you to all of you who submitted a quilt. Without you there would be no quilt show. Because we have a speaker in June, our quilt show recap will be in July. I can't wait to see all the winning quilts! A special welcome to all our new members who joined at the quilt show. We look forward to getting to know you. Liz Granberg-Jerome's much anticipated trunk show and classes will be presented this month. You won't want to miss it! As always, the meeting starts promptly at 6:30 the second Tuesday of the month at Knob Prairie Church in Enon. Also, if you won blocks from the Christmas Spool Challenge, be sure to bring your completed quilt top to show off to the guild! If you bring your quilt top to the June meeting, you’ll earn $50, which you could put toward the backing and batting for the quilt. See you soon! She will be hosting a great workshop showing how to make a Hexified Panel Quilt on June 12 and June 13. Spots are still available - You can choose to do a 1-day class and complete a smaller precut kit or choose the 2-day class and complete a larger precut kit! View more details here.
