Looking ahead to our October meeting, it would be great to have you, our talented guild members, share some easy and fun Christmas gift ideas. Please send me an email at [email protected] if you would like to participate in a short demo. Show and tell will return at this meeting. Sandy H, Vice President Quilts of Valor What a wonderful response to our Scrap Busting Block Drive!! We have 17 quilters signed up to make 12 blocks from our scraps (6 fat quarters each). Blocks will be due at the October guild meeting. Each kit will come with more detailed instructions. Be sure to pick up your kit at the July meeting! If you can't be there, please try to have someone else pick it up for you. We do have a few extra kits, so if you didn't get signed up and would like to participate, please e-mail me at [email protected]. We are already working on a group award for the Beavercreek Senior Center around Veterans Day. If you can help by machine quilting a top, please let me know. We have many additional requests that we are trying to fulfill, and would love to get our tops made into quilts, so that we can honor those who have given so much for our country! Thank you all for your continued support of Quilts of Valor! Debbie G, Quilts of Valor Coordinator
