Winter Quilt Retreat
Each year, the Miami Valley Quilters’ Guild hosts a three day retreat over Presidents’ Day weekend in February. Hosted at a local hotel, quilters may choose the option to spend the night or commute. Quilters bring their own machines and work on projects of their choice during this retreat. We also have fabric and patterns available from Community Projects and Quilts of Valor for members to make blocks to donate for future quilts.
A complimentary breakfast is available for overnight guests of the hotel, and the retreat committee provides homemade soups for dinner. A delivered lunch is available for purchase, and members bring a variety of snacks for everyone to enjoy. Quilters are welcome to come and go as they need or wish, so some take a lunch break off site.
All quilters are in one room and love to cheering each other on as they work and finish projects! Demonstrations are provided for different techniques and project ideas, plus we play a few games and draw for door prizes all weekend long. Registration begins at our October meeting.

- You must be a guild member to register.
- Once the retreat is full, a waitlist will be started.
- To attend, your 2026 guild member dues must be paid in full.
- No refunds will be made after the January guild meeting.
